Man Killed In Roller Accident In Clay

Deputies from the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office were called to Glenn Crossing Plaza in the area of Long Branch Road when someone reported an accident at the location. Deputies discovered that the man was hit and run over by a double-drum ride-on roller. He died at the accident scene.
Construction crews had been at the scene for more than a week conducting asphalt work when the fatal accident occurred. The driver of the roller is cooperating with law enforcement.
